Physiotherapists are experts in movement and function. They assess, diagnose, treat and work to prevent disease and disability in patients through physical means. We have a qualified physiotherapist onsite. They work in partnership with their patients, assisting them to overcome movement disorders, which may have been present from birth, acquired through accident or injury, or are the result of aging or life-changing events. Our physiotherapist helps patients recover from injury, reduce pain and stiffness and increase mobility. If you would like more information or would like to make a booking with the physiotherapist, please contact our clinic.
Diabetes Educator is a specialist in not only diabetes, but also people. They are qualified health professionals who help patients to manage their diabetes effectively and prevent complications. Diabetes Educators work closely with GPs, combining knowledge and know-how to support and motivate patients in making informed decisions about their health. They are often the first point of call at diagnosis and essential in ongoing reviews.
We have an in-house diabetic educator who works with patients, focusing on their individual needs. They provide patients with information and tips on lifestyle, healthy diet, regular exercise, and medication management. Our diabetic educator has up-to-date knowledge in using latest technologies – like Bluetooth blood glucose meters and insulin pumps. They can help to make self-management easier. If you would like more information or would like to make a booking with the diabetic educator, please contact our clinic.
Podiatry is the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and management of problems in the lower limbs, ankles and feet. Our feet are our most used form of transport and over a lifetime we will walk more than 128,000 km on them. It is almost equal to walking 3 times around the world. We don’t think about it much but it’s important to take care of your feet. Foot care is essential for people who have diabetes, and annual check-ups are extremely important. Patients suffering from diabetes are more at risk of nerve damage, poor circulation and have a higher risk of infection to the feet. Their risk of developing foot ulcers and amputation is also increased.
A podiatrist can diagnose, treat and rehabilitate your feet and help prevent complications. They will work closely with our GP’s to provide comprehensive holistic healthcare services and ensure best outcome for your foot health. If you would like more information or would like to make a booking with the podiatrist, please contact our clinic.
